Worked with a luxury RV/Travel Trailer rental business in Austin, TX with no prior email marketing strategy. I wrote and designed the email templates from scratch and created, scheduled and maintained the campaigns.

List: I was provided an uncleaned CSV containing ~5,000 email addresses that I cleaned, formatted and uploaded into the ESP.

Email Copy: Using Outdoorsy and Goodsam for inspiration, and Instagram, Facebook and Reddit communities for market research into consumer behaviors, I wrote brief email messaging aimed at engaging the sensory benefits of taking an RV trip. Sometimes--such as with the Christmas season--I would inject popular film catchphrases into the copy to help build rapport and reinforce the notion that there was an actual person behind the email, not just a company looking to make money.

Email Design: While the client was using ActiveCampaign in the beginning and HubSpot afterwards, I would often use Canva for advanced creative elements, or on occasion create entire templates.

Campaign: Overseeing the entire email marketing strategy, I would setup, schedule and maintain email campaigns using best practices for send times and duration between messages.
