12 signs your body gives you a month before heart attack
A man is sitting on his rocking chair and all of a sudden, he dies! The doctors say the reason was a sudden heart attack. Sounds filmy right? Because it indeed is. There is mostly no such thing as a sudden heart attack as shown in movies, our body acts as a radar system if something is about to go wrong.  Some heart symptoms may not appear in your chest, and it is not always easy to determine what is wrong but if you are not sure, book your appointment now. Especially if you're 60 or older, overweight, or have diabetes, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure.
Today we are going to tell you 12 signs that your body gives a month before a heart attack.
Anxiety:
Anxiety is a silent alarm bell that rings in your head to give you information about what’s coming up. It can be a signal of a heart attack. Before having a heart attack, some people experience tremendous stress, fast heartbeat, perspiration, and chest discomfort or pain. It is critical to be aware of these symptoms and to get medical assistance as soon as possible if you experience them.
Chest Discomfort:
Ever experienced discomfort in the chest? Well, take it as a sign of something alarming. There can be many reasons for chest discomfort and the most important reason is some issues with your heart. It is also called angina. So, don’t brush it off and go to your doctor as soon as possible.
High Cholesterol:
One of the most important reasons is High Cholesterol. Every elderly member of the family who has high cholesterol also becomes a prey to heart attack. Cholesterol is a fatty substance found in several foods and is also made by your liver. If its level increases, it can form blockage which can result in a heart attack.
Leg pain:
We may experience leg pain if we have an injury or we run an extra mile but if you can not notice any physical activity and still feel cramps and aches in your leg you can be a target of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). Especially, if you are a smoke or diabetes patient, do not ignore this symptom and get yourself checked.
Fatigue:
It is very normal to feel tired if you had a long day at your work or did a heavy workout routine but feeling exhausted just after stepping out of your bed is not normal. Inadequate blood supply to the tissues can make you feel weary due to less oxygen levels. So, do not take it as something ordinary and get checked today.
Depression:
Depression may not be a result of heart disease but if you are feeling depressed due to some problems in your life, your mental health is prone to affect your body too. In many cases, people who have depression, also develop heart diseases.
Shortness of breath:
If you were a very active person and walking up the stairs used to be an easy task for you, but now you have suddenly noticed that it's becoming increasingly difficult, get medical assistance right away. Even if this does not necessarily indicate that you are about to have a heart attack right now, it might be an indication that your heart is at risk. Shortness of breath can occur with or without chest discomfort.
Sweating:
It is completely normal to break out in a cold sweat if you have just exercised but you are sweating without doing anything. Take it as a sign of something suspicious. During a heart attack, your nervous system initiates a "fight or flight" response, placing you in survival mode and perhaps causing you to sweat.
Swelling:
If you feel a sudden swelling in different areas of your body, this might indicate that your heart is not pumping blood as effectively as it should. Bloating occurs when blood backs up in the veins due to inadequate heartbeat. Bloating may occur as a result of heart failure because the kidneys may have a more difficult time draining out extra water and salt.
Dizziness:
Faintness can occur due to a variety of factors, including dehydration, missing meals, and standing up too rapidly. Fainting or dizziness combined with chest discomfort and shortness of breath, on the other hand, may signal a drop in blood volume and blood pressure, indicating that a heart attack is approaching. Contact a cardiologist as soon as possible if you are facing this problem because it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Stomach problems:
Of course, you might have an upset stomach for a variety of causes unrelated to your heart. After all, it may just be something you ate or due to irregular intake of meals. However, you should be aware that it can also occur during a heart attack. Women with heart problems generally show this symptom.
Abnormal Pulse:
It's natural for your heart to speed up or skip a beat if you are frightened or thrilled. However, if your heart appears to be beating out of time for more than a few seconds, or if this occurs frequently, consult your doctor.
Most of the time, it's caused by something simple to solve, such as too much caffeine or not enough sleep. However, it may occasionally indicate a disease known as atrial fibrillation, which requires treatment. So get yourself checked immediately.
And there you have it folks, 12 signs to watch out for before a heart attack knocks on your door! Remember, your body is a temple, and it's important to take care of it, so pay attention to these warning signs, and keep your heart in perfect fit! Don't wait till it's too late, because a healthy heart is a happy heart, and that's something we can all celebrate!"
