Sustainable: Environmental Initiative Platform

Government platforms carry a particular design problem. The content is dense, the audience is everyone, and the cost of unclear information is high. This project asked me to take a large environmental initiative and make it approachable without stripping its authority.
Structure. The information architecture was built around three priorities: a clear content hierarchy so people find policies and research without digging, transitions that orient rather than entertain, and an accessibility-first interface that works across the full range of a public audience. When the audience is everyone, accessibility stops being a checklist item and becomes the design constraint.
Visual direction from the subject matter itself. Ocean depths, forest textures, coastlines, used as context rather than decoration. The imagery tells someone what the platform is about before they read a word, which matters when the content underneath is policy documents.
Typography and grid carry the structural load. The layout stays open and uncluttered, which is exactly what dense content needs. Motion is used sparingly and every micro-interaction has a navigational job, not an aesthetic one.
The platform launched as a calm, confident presence for an initiative that needed both credibility and reach.
Timeline: 3 weeks. Year: 2025. I led UX, UI, and the motion direction.

Public-sector environmental platform designed to feel approachable without losing authority. Accessibility-first, motion used for orientation only.
