Created a full web app for an existing data distribution system which moved data between various disparate systems, including the UX design to implementation. The app displayed real world entities (drones and other sensors), in real time, on 2D and 3D maps. While displaying 10s of thousands of entities on the map, the client could also display an entity's associated and synchronized metadata (position, altitude, orientation and much more) and if available, live low latency video.
The first release included the ability to display overlaid geospatial information synchronized and oriented to the video providing an advanced augmented reality type view.
This project was created with Vue.js + webpack along with a c# / .net core backend for client to server web-socket communications.
Provided a selectable multi-map client option to satisfy different customer needs.
Highly performant rendering at over 200 fps with thousands of entities visible.
Both on demand and low-latency video supported from various entities.
