Designing and building an all-in-one astronomy platform

Lookup is an all in one astronomy platform. It pulls space news, mission funding, events, and learning into one app, then organizes them around what each person actually follows. The problem it answers is fragmentation. Enthusiasts were running several sites to stay current, nothing understood their interests, taking part meant leaving whichever app they were in, and the sheer noise wore people down.
Explore the universe, connect the minds. One app for everything space: community, news, events, learning, and missions.
Four steps carry the product. Space news turns discoveries, mission updates, space weather, and research into a personalized feed. Mission funding shows a project's purpose, progress, goal, and likely impact before anyone contributes. The event calendar gathers launches, observation nights, conferences, and workshops. Learning resources sort articles, courses, and seminars by level, from beginner to advanced.
Discovery to a finished UI in three weeks. Discovery ran through week one, wireframes overlapped into week two, visual direction sat in the middle, and UI design closed out week three.
Home is one personalized surface: tonight's sky, the missions the community is funding, and the latest discoveries. Community is the part that makes it stick. Somebody asks what the universe is expanding into, and somebody who knows answers.
News is a focused feed with filters, trending, and recommended stories in one continuous read. Learning gathers articles, courses, seminars, and expert material tagged by level. Funding shows the amount raised, the deadline, the implementation date, the team, and the expected impact, so supporting a mission is a decision rather than a donation.
Lookup also ships an operator dashboard: active users, installs, funds raised, daily activity against new registrations, and which learning content is actually pulling.
