When we were kids, we heard that "Books are your best friend," but I did not believe it. At that time, I only knew class books.
When I turned 18, I started exploring some YouTube videos that books can help, but it depends on your preferred genre. After watching a few YouTube videos, I decided to develop a reading habit. My first book was "The Art of Dealing with People". I liked the title. From that day on, I began to immerse myself in the world of reading. And now it's been 22 months of reading some of the masterpieces. These two years of engineering didn't teach me much, but reading taught me more than any other I learned many lessons:
1. Your subconscious mind is one of the most powerful weapons you have. It depends on how you receive it. (I took it negatively and it happened) - "The Power of your Subconscious Mind"
2. If you find it difficult to adjust your habits, start with the number "1". 1 push-up, 1 page of reading, 1 page of writing, etc. - "Atomic Habits"
3. If you want people to find you interesting, kind and nice - "How to Make Friends and Influence People".
4. "Do Epic Shit" reminds, me that it's better to get lost in yourself than on the running wheel (where everyone goes).
These are some of the things I mentioned. But there is much to be learned. Books can be your friend if you want.
Non-fiction books can tell us a lot about our lives if we're open about it. We learn some things that no one will tell us. This contributes a lot to personal growth.
I tried using these things and was able to use some. Introducing my treasures (some books are not currently on display).
