Client:
Dreamers is an interior design studio with a presence in Moscow, Milan, and Baku, known for creating unique, tailored spaces.
Case Study:
Our objective was to develop a cohesive brand platform and central concept that would be reflected on their website. The aim was to encapsulate Dreamers' diverse offerings, which include personalized interior design, European standards, the founder's rich and varied background, exploration of individual home aesthetics, and comprehensive support throughout every stage of the project.
Our Approach:
We focused on crafting a website that tells the story of Dreamers in a way that feels both substantial and engaging.
Implementation:
To establish a sense of depth and solidity, we integrated a unified system of graphic elements and effects. The header features a video filled with dynamic light play, tactile textures, and intricate details, reflecting the brand’s essence of creating meaningful and emotionally resonant interiors.
We paid particular attention to the logo's fluid appearance and disappearance, synchronized precisely with scrolling, adding a layer of sophistication to the user experience.
Menu elements are elegantly highlighted with a fine line, reminiscent of the design found in antique books, mirroring the stylistic line beneath the prominent Dreamers logo on the homepage. We portrayed the studio's approach in the style of an old book, using sequential animations of initials to evoke the decorative elements of capital letters in historical manuscripts and early print editions.
The "Services" module employs a hover effect, where images shift as if viewed through vintage film, drawing inspiration from Dreamers' signature use of vintage pieces in their interiors.
We maintained a minimalist design for the footer, featuring a clear call to action and subtle golden arrows throughout the site to aid navigation.
Portfolio Page:
The portfolio page was crafted with a focus on both completed projects and those in progress, aligning with the founder’s vision. We utilized an Instagram-like grid layout familiar to modern users and incorporated hover effects similar to those on the homepage to maintain visual consistency. Instead of detailed descriptions, the portfolio emphasizes the visual impact of each project, with large images that automatically adjust to different screen sizes.
To echo the old typography style, city names were added, with a refined color palette of gold and gray. The services page was designed as a dropdown menu, featuring an interior photo in the header with a smooth scrolling effect, ensuring every service is directly linked to the corresponding section on the page.
User Experience:
We prioritized a smooth, intuitive user journey, considering every detail to enhance the overall experience. The mobile version was meticulously adapted to retain the site’s core concept without compromising speed.
The animation of letters was formatted as a horizontal block, minimizing the need for excessive scrolling. The portfolio layout dynamically adjusts to fit various screen sizes, ensuring an optimal viewing experience across devices—from desktops and laptops to smartphones and tablets. Each version of the website effectively conveys the brand’s narrative and visual language.
