Product Sourcing & Fulfillment for a Small Business
Overview
I ran an international product-sourcing operation that helped small business owners identify suppliers, compare production options, and manage orders from initial research through shipment tracking.
The work focused on making product sourcing more accessible for businesses that needed lower minimum order quantities, clear supplier communication, and a practical path from product idea to delivery.

The challenge

High minimum order quantities can make it difficult for small businesses to test products or place smaller inventory orders without taking on major financial risk.
I needed to find suppliers that could support lower-MOQ orders while still providing clear product information, workable pricing, sample options, and reliable production and shipping communication.

My approach

International supplier research I researched, vetted, and communicated with factories and suppliers in China and Vietnam. I compared supplier capabilities, product options, pricing, minimum order quantities, and production details.
Price and MOQ comparison I reviewed quotes and factory profiles to help balance affordability, order size, and product requirements before moving forward.
Support for complex sourcing requests For custom or difficult-to-source products, I consulted experienced sourcing mentors and industry professionals to validate supplier options and identify appropriate manufacturer connections.
End-to-end order coordination I managed the sourcing workflow from supplier research and price comparison through sample evaluation, inventory planning, order coordination, and international shipment tracking.

Products sourced and managed

Beauty and hair: wigs, braided hair extensions, skincare products, and body-care formulations
Fashion and accessories: boutique apparel, handbags, footwear, and slippers
Event and commercial supplies: tables, chairs, and venue-setup equipment
Consumer goods: electronics, small gadgets, and custom lifestyle products
