Between Studio — Photography & Film Portfolio Website

Preview:

Brief:

Between Studio is a visual storytelling studio working across photography, film, and documentary. Their work is considered, cinematic, and built around atmosphere rather than output. The website needed to reflect that. Not a commercial portfolio with a grid of thumbnails. A space that felt like the work itself. Slow, intentional, and worth spending time in.

Solution:

We designed and built a full portfolio website in Framer. Eight pages built around editorial layouts, deliberate whitespace, and scroll-based transitions that feel intentional rather than decorative. Three CMS collections — projects, journal posts, and testimonials — mean the studio can add new work and writing without touching the design.
Each project has its own detail page built to give the work room to breathe. The journal sits alongside the portfolio as a space for reflection and perspective. The overall layout moves between cinematic and editorial, matching the visual rhythm of the studio's work rather than imposing one on top of it.

Outcome:

A portfolio website that does not perform. It presents. Built for visual storytellers who understand that how you show your work is part of the work itself.
