Public speaking anxiety is a common problem among college students, with many experiencing high anxiety levels when asked to speak in front of a group. Yet, having good presentation skills are essential for their academic and personal development. So, the sparkled question- why PSA is holding us back?

Through a competitor analysis in four most popular apps surrounding this speech/public speaking space. I found that while these apps primarily focus on linguistic skills, but none of them sees non-verbal communication as a KEY factor for effective communication. Seeing this gap in the market, I saw the potential for Presento to provide a unique solution.

Based on the trends from my affinity map, I’ve noticed how there’s really no improvement associated with presentation capabilities when they’re NOT capable of controlling the negative psychology, decreasing the motivation to continue.
