As a result, Lagerbox managed to expand its presence in the market, covering prospects who prefer Internet orders.Lagerbox business operations required a reliable CRM available to be tailored to their needs. They were considering building a CRM from scratch, yet decided to go with Odoo. When Lagerbox first discovered SSM, a new strategic development idea took shape. The initial concept was to seamlessly integrate the new booking tool with SSM, a move that showed great promise. This integration was expected to enhance functionality and efficiency, creating a more streamlined and effective system. Despite the promising start with the new booking tool, Lagerbox encountered specific challenges with SSM after launching its booking tool MVP. The SSM development team's lack of flexibility, reluctance to implement change requests, and costly proposals with extended delivery dates became apparent. These issues, coupled with the increasing need for customized functionality, led Lagerbox to the decision of building their own self-storage management system. As Lagerbox continued to grow, its requirements for customized SSM functionality increased. Eventually, they reached a point where it was more advantageous to develop their own self-storage management system. This decision not only ensures all their needs are met but also opens up the possibility of selling the software as a SaaS product, thereby potentially increasing their revenue It was the beginning of a new Bricx project.
