RSS Reader: A Concept Mobile Reader

Designing RSS, a concept mobile RSS reader, allowed me to explore a truly minimal and distraction-free reading experience. My goal was to create an app that felt modern and intuitive, offering both a sleek dark and light mode to suit user preference.

The core focus was on simplifying the user journey. This includes an intuitive onboarding process that gets users reading quickly, straightforward tools to manage RSS sources, and the ability to save articles for later. The reading experience itself is clean and uncluttered. For articles that require visiting the original site, I integrated an in-app browser with useful features like an AI summary for a quick overview and an ad blocker to maintain that distraction-free environment even outside the app's native reader.

As a designer, this project was a fantastic opportunity to bring specific ideas I have for reader apps to life in a conceptual space. It allowed me to experiment freely and push my skills, particularly in Figma where I refined the interface and interactions. Seeing the prototype come to life on my phone was incredibly rewarding and solidified my enjoyment of the entire design process, from concept to interactive demo.
