I'm thrilled to be part of the rebranding journey of Cafe Sarafornia, a cherished family-owned restaurant established in 1993. With a strong focus on personal comfort and comfort food, the restaurant has become a comfort destination rather than just a food spot. What sets Cafe Sarafornia apart is its loyal customer base and a team of five waitresses who have been with the restaurant for over 20 years, creating a sense of belonging and cheerfulness. Rated highly on Facebook, Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, the establishment is known for its all-day breakfast, offering vegetarian and gluten-free options.

My connection to Cafe Sarafornia runs deep, having spent my childhood visiting my grandparents' restaurant and feeling at home amidst delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. As the graphic designer responsible for rebranding, I aimed to revive the restaurant's essence by giving it a “facelift”. This involved updating the outdated logo, redesigning all menus (breakfast, lunch, specials, beverages), and new merchandise designs.

The goal was to maintain Cafe Sarafornia's authenticity while infusing its visual identity with a more modern personality. It's been a fulfilling experience contributing to the legacy of a place that has provided decades of memories and warmth for my family, the community, and its customers.
