This project was about designing a crypto wallet and DeFi service application that gives users full control over their digital assets while offering intuitive access to lending, borrowing, staking, and transaction management.

The goal was to craft an experience that feels professional yet approachable — a design that builds trust for first-time users while providing power and clarity for advanced crypto investors.

DeFi can feel overwhelming for new users. The mission of this project was to:

Simplify complex blockchain processes like staking and lending into clean, step-by-step flows

Build a modern and secure wallet experience that supports multiple integrations (MetaMask, TrustWallet, Coinbase, Binance, WalletConnect)

Highlight risk awareness and transparency through clear APY, fees, and lock-up terms

Ensure that every screen feels fast, reliable, and trustworthy

I started with wireframes to define the user flows — wallet connection, asset overview, DeFi actions, transaction history, and staking management.

From there, I designed a full UI system in Figma:

Consistent design tokens for typography, colors, and spacing

A layout system that emphasizes hierarchy and clarity

Visual cues like green (low risk) vs. red (high risk) to help users make informed choices

Every component was designed for scalability, so new assets and DeFi products can be added without redesigning the structure.

Visual Identity: Neutral backgrounds with bold accent colors for clarity and emphasis.

Typography: Clean, modern sans serif for readability across dense data screens.

Layout: Card-based design for assets, ensuring scalability and quick scanning.

Motion: Lightweight transitions for confirmations and success states to provide feedback without clutter.

Risk Transparency: APY, fees, and lock-up terms surfaced upfront to encourage trust.

The full UI design system and flows were completed in three weeks, including two feedback rounds and refinements for the staking and lending modules.

The finished UI achieves exactly what it set out to do:

Onboarding is simplified with wallet connection options and QR support

Users have confidence through clear asset views and transaction histories

DeFi services are approachable, making staking and lending feel like everyday banking actions

The design is ready for development handoff, with all components documented and scalable

This project shows how good design can demystify blockchain and DeFi, giving both newcomers and experts a wallet they can trust.
