BackScoop is a daily newsletter that keeps you up-to-date on the top stories on tech and business in Southeast Asia.

✨The Challenge

The design challenge was that my client and her subscribers were facing an accessibility issue to find previous content archives from the newsletter, so my client needed help to build those pages where she can publish latest content on the website.

In summary, the BackScoop website served as the centralized platform for all of the email newsletter content and be able to share content through social platforms. Here are the results:

Over 2,000 subscribers in February 2022 and currently over 9k+

🧠 Key Takeaways

This project was so much fun and it was refreshing to work on something new! I enjoyed working with Amanda and am grateful to be able to build this together with her.

As someone who previously worked in the fintech space, I relied on BackScoop to get up to date on the latest news in the fintech industry, but the interesting part is that I started to enjoy learning about different industries as well due to the tone and voice of the content.

Working with Amera has always been easy! Worked with her three times, including the launch of my site and a site upgrade. Every time I worked with her, she always improved. For the website upgrade, I clearly laid out what I wanted the site to look like and what it would do, and Amera delivered exactly what I wanted. She was always clear about timelines and quick to respond as well. Recommended her for other projects and plan to work with her again!
