We target the wellness-focused local and the culinary enthusiast who seek integrity in their ingredients and appreciate the difference that time and skill make.
The core idea was to craft an identity that is simultaneously rustic and expert, combining bold confidence with a warm, neighbourhood spirit. The aesthetic uses rich, earthy tones and textured typography to signal quality and tradition, while the playful tone and "Uncle Dough" persona ensure the bakery remains accessible and inviting. It's a place that takes
its bread seriously but never itself, focusing entirely on community, craft, and crust.

Tasked with creating an identity that feels simultaneously Warm, Bold, Rustic, and Playful, I developed the Uncle Dough persona—a trustworthy character rooted in traditional, slow-ferment baking. This brand system uses rich, earthy tones and textured typography to communicate the product's quality, paired with a witty, confident voice to build strong neighborhood loyalty. The deliverables include a full visual identity, menu, and loyalty card, translating the process of sourdough into an accessible, beloved community brand.
