The goal of the project was run-and-gun video production showcasing Vietnam's culture through a younger AAPI lens, covering topics such as street food, Michelin-level dining, fashion, travel, and nightlife. The main challenge was shoot locations consisting of local businesses with harsh lighting and audio environments along with a language barrier as the freelancer does not speak Vietnamese.

Multiple short-form videos were completed for Dan's social channels and a la carte social content for media outlets like Travel and Leisure Asia. The project involved extensive location scouting that included finding hidden gems within Vietnam's cities.

The final outcome of the project was successful social media coverage that met the client's vision. They were able to reach new audiences who appreciated seeing Vietnam through an alternative lens.

This project highlights my ability to work efficiently while adapting to challenging filming conditions. My use of storytelling techniques helps bring out authentic narratives which are valuable for any brand looking to tell its story in an innovative way.
