DESIGNING THE SKIN THAT REPRESENTS ATHLETES ON THE NATIONAL STAGE

Athletics Federation of Entre Ríos (FADER) supports elite athletes competing at a national level. Following an institutional renewal, the incoming president of the federation required a complete modernization of their outdated emblem to better project a stage of professional growth and future athletic success.

I created the emblem that elite athletes use to represent the province in national competitions. I simplified the shield's morphology, integrated streamlined elements depicting a running track and a dynamic human form, alongside a bespoke logotype utilizing Gestalt principles in the letter "A" to mimic a leg in motion. But the project went beyond the emblem itself: I designed a flexible, scalable identity system where the emblem can be broken down into its logotype and symbol, allowing each element to work independently across merchandise, social media, awards, and other touchpoints while maintaining a cohesive and recognizable identity.

The redesign provided FADER with a robust and highly versatile identity system. As a designer from Entre Ríos, it was a profound milestone to see this visual system become the official insignia that top-tier athletes now wear with pride while representing our province.
