Overview

The Blockgigs landing page was designed to introduce a decentralized gig marketplace where freelancers and companies can connect, collaborate, and get paid in crypto. The focus was on making Web3 onboarding simple, while still highlighting the platform’s unique value: wallet-based login, secure on-chain payments, and a wide range of job categories.

The Goal

The goal was to design a landing page for Blockgigs, a Web3 gig marketplace that connects freelancers and companies through decentralized hiring and crypto payments. The page needed to communicate trust, explain how the platform works, and encourage wallet connections and job postings.

Approach

The design balances Web3 innovation with user-friendly communication, making blockchain-powered hiring approachable for both freelancers and employers. It emphasizes credibility, simplicity, and community trust.

Challenges

Explaining Web3 to New Users Many users are unfamiliar with wallet connections and on-chain hiring. The challenge was simplifying the onboarding steps without overwhelming visitors.
Balancing Trust & Innovation Web3 platforms often face skepticism around security and payments. Building credibility through testimonials, FAQs, and a clean design was essential.
Showcasing Job Diversity Blockgigs needed to highlight both technical (e.g., smart contract development) and non-technical (e.g., marketing, community management) roles. Designing a structure that makes this clear and easy to scan was a key task.

Impact

This landing page communicates Blockgigs’ core value; decentralized, on-chain gig work without middlemen while ensuring that new users understand how to start quickly. It builds trust, highlights opportunities, and encourages engagement from both freelancers and employers.
