I was brought as an engineering leader on the platform stability team. This team was responsible in improving and maintaining the overall health of systems at Terrascope.

During my time here I lead a team of 5 full stack engineers. My main contributions to the company were:

Re-architect the carbon emissions pipeline (the heart of Terrascopes operations) to handle large scale data computations

Strategise and execute breaking up their monolithic system into microservices.

Create end to end observability across all systems, starting from the web app all the way through the microservices and infrastructure components. The strategy improved the up-time of the systems and the MTTR of issue resolution.

Advice and help implement industry best-practices for micro services design, database operations, API design and documentation etc.
