WHAT IS TEGUS?
Tegus is a B2B fintech startup that is transforming the research landscape for investors by facilitating both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Users can effortlessly conduct expert interviews for qualitative insights and access user-friendly overviews of financial data for quantitative analysis. This dual capability empowers investors with a comprehensive research platform.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
As a product design intern at Tegus, I enhanced the panel call transcript experience to expedite research for investors. I led the end-to-end design of panel calls, serving as the sole designer for this feature.
Starting the project with a blank slate and a broad goal of improving a newly developing feature—panel calls—I guided the strategic design process from 0->1. This involved crafting product strategy, conducting user research, concept testing, creating visual designs, and finally, developing prototypes.

DESIGN PROCESS SUMMARY

To ensure that I was tackling the right problem and scope down my project, I thoroughly brainstormed and explored all possible opportunities and solutions.
CONCEPT TESTING: USER INTERVIEWS
Designed high-fidelity prototypes of brainstormed concepts and presented them to users in order to determine what solutions users prioritize and want.
CONCEPT TESTING: HOTJAR SURVEY
Gauged user engagement levels with new concept ideas through a pop-up Hotjar survey presented to 350+ beta users.
