theHandover.com streamlines construction financing. Developers initiate projects, seeking funding in exchange for equity or ownership. Investors peruse and submit bids on presented projects. Developers have the option to review and select the most favorable bid, fostering a collaborative and efficient marketplace for construction investment.
In my role as a full-stack developer, I undertook the end-to-end development of this project. This encompassed translating UI design into functional code, architecting and implementing APIs, and orchestrating deployment on EC2 and Amplify, with integration to MongoDB for seamless data management.
For developers, the process begins with a straightforward sign-up, empowering them to showcase their projects to a wide audience. Through a user-friendly interface, developers can articulate their financing requirements, post projects, and outline their vision for potential investors.
On the flip side, investors gain access to a diverse array of construction projects, providing a rich pool of investment opportunities. The bidding system enables investors to competitively present their proposals, fostering a dynamic environment. Developers, in turn, can evaluate multiple bids, ensuring they secure the most favorable terms for their projects.
