In my role as a full-stack engineer for the Excise Taxation POS (Point of Sale) ERP, I orchestrated the development of a software solution aimed at optimizing tax collection processes for government agencies. Utilizing Node.js and React.js, I spearheaded the creation of a user-friendly interface, incorporating features like product catalogs, pricing, and checkout. Leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Amplify, and S3, alongside a load balancer for enhanced performance, I ensured a robust and scalable system. My responsibilities extended to integrating APIs for real-time tax calculations and seamless payment gateway integration. This comprehensive approach not only automated tax processes, alleviating the burden on taxpayers, but also significantly increased government revenue. As a full-stack engineer, my expertise in frontend development and API integration played a pivotal role in delivering an efficient and vital tool for government agencies, facilitating streamlined tax collection.
