Cadence is a new running brand bringing high-performance, crew length running socks to the UK. They sought to develop a brand identity to help them stand out from the competition.
Having originally set sights on the trail running niche, the number of people taking up running during the pandemic presented an opportunity with a slightly more mass-market audience. The objective remains to create a quality product that can be enjoyed by new and serious runners alike. Cadence plans to expand beyond socks in the future, meaning the brand identity needs to be versatile.
I worked with Cadence to deliver a visual brand identity suite consisting of a logo (symbol and wordmark that could be used in combination or separately), brand guidelines, and packaging for the first product.
