Otis: private portfolio tracking for stocks and crypto

I built and launched Otis as a calm, private portfolio tracker for people who want to understand what they hold without turning investing into a noisy trading terminal. The app brings together stocks, ETFs, crypto, dividends, watchlists, market refreshes, finance news, benchmarks, and private notes in one iOS experience.
Product & Portfolio Ledger I designed the core product around personal portfolio accounting: holdings, buys, sells, dividends, splits, fees, FX context, and multiple portfolios. The goal was to give users a clear view of what changed, what paid income, and where concentration or currency exposure might matter.
Market Context & Watchlists Otis combines a private user ledger with market quotes, crypto refreshes, dividend dates, benchmark comparisons, and news topics based on the assets a user actually follows. Watchlist detail views and signals help users decide what deserves attention without flooding the app with trading noise.
Privacy-First iOS Experience I built the app around calm, personal tracking: local notes, value-hiding for screenshots, exportable backups, additive restore, Apple Calendar dividend export, quiet-hour notification preferences, and on-device Apple Intelligence support where available.
Launch & Iteration I shipped Otis publicly on the App Store and continued iterating on the product surface: weekly recaps, portfolio health, income runway, recurring buy templates, watchlist headlines, market-refresh limits, and cleaner iPad flows. The result is a real consumer finance app with a focused product voice and privacy-first defaults.
