PickUp

This project consisted in an existing app that needed a new feature to be included. The main idea was to have in mind the existing UI and features to create something entirely new, but yet maintaining the project branding.

Process

After doing multiple competitive research, analyzing users reviews from other similar apps, and in talks with the client about their users feedbacks and experiences, I was able to not only accomplish the design tasks, but also come up with many ideas to suggests, which ended up being added to the app, thanks to them being useful.

In this project I also made use of atomic design, design system, user flow and prototyping to have an organized and a documentation easy to handoff.

Results

When it comes fulfilling both sides of a product (customers and workers), PickUp achieves that in multiple ways with the new feature that our team implemented to it. From the simplicity of requesting a shopping list, to having a conversation with the delivery person and more.

By itself, this project added a new type of value to the app, giving it a chance to grow in new fields.
