Advocaat is a multi-platform legal-tech product we built to connect users with lawyers through a clean, structured flow — from discovery and case intake to bookings, messaging, and admin-controlled verification. Building it was genuinely fun 😄 because every platform had its own constraints, edge cases, and “gotchas” that forced us to think like product + engineering at the same time.

A user-friendly experience focused on:

Finding the right lawyer (profiles, filtering, decision support)

Creating a case / request with structured details

Booking consultations and managing timelines

Secure messaging + file sharing

A productivity workspace for lawyers to:

Manage profile, services, pricing, and availability

Review incoming cases/requests and respond

Handle bookings, messaging, and documents

Track client interactions and workflow status

An operational control center to:

Verify lawyers and monitor platform activity

Handle disputes and reports

Manage system settings, categories, and moderation queues

Support platform trust and safety end-to-end

FlutterFlow + Flutter for fast multi-platform delivery

Firebase for authentication, database, storage, and real-time flows

A modular architecture mindset: reusable components, standardized patterns, and role-based experiences across the three platforms

Building 3 different products under one system: user UX, lawyer workflows, and admin operations

Handling platform-specific complexity:

Keeping it shippable while still maintaining structure and scalability

We’re currently moving into Advocaat V2 with:

A clean, minimal UI/UX refresh across the full system

Advocaat AI as a user-only consultant (Netherlands-focused, governed by prompt rules)

Deeper QA + performance optimization to make the platform faster, smoother, and more reliable
