Problem Statement
The challenge posed was to create an Indian version of a popular foreign-originated app. In
response, we conceptualized 'Bhoom' as an Indigenous alternative to Snapchat, tailored
specifically to cater to the diverse cultural and linguistic landscape of India.
Vision
"At 'Bhoom,' our vision is to empower Indian users with a culturally resonant and socially
engaging digital platform that celebrates India's rich diversity and enables authentic
connections through innovative social media experiences. We envision 'Bhoom' as the
foremost destination where users can express themselves freely in their preferred regional
languages, discover culturally relevant content, and connect with communities that reflect
their unique identities and interests. By fostering a vibrant ecosystem of creativity and
connection, we aim to redefine social media in India, making it more inclusive, secure, and
enriching for every user."
