Overview 🔎

The primary goal of the project undertaken by Masturk is to establish an innovative online platform that consolidates an extensive array of Turkish companies and their diverse product offerings within a single, comprehensive location. This platform aims to seamlessly connect entrepreneurs, as well as national and international enterprises, enabling them to effortlessly discover and access the information they seek.

Problem & Solution 🤝

Due to multiple employees working on data entry for the website, we encountered a problem of numerous errors and duplicated information being inputted. To address this issue, we decided to assign officers to oversee each group of data entries and provide them with distinct data on separate Excel files. Once the employee completes the data entry, the assigned officer will review the entered data on the website to ensure its accuracy. This approach ensures that no duplicated or erroneous data is inputted onto the website, providing a guarantee of data quality and integrity.

Process 🛣

To address the problem faced in this project, the following steps were taken:
Identifying the issue: The initial step involved recognizing the presence of errors and duplicated data on the website resulting from multiple employees entering data simultaneously.
Analyzing the root cause: We delved into the cause of the problem, which was determined to be the lack of coordination and oversight during the data entry process.
Designating officers: In order to tackle the issue effectively, officers were hired and assigned to specific groups of data entries. Each officer was responsible for overseeing and managing the data entry process for their respective group.
Distributing distinct data: To ensure clarity and avoid duplication, distinct sets of data were provided to each officer. This was accomplished by segregating the data and creating separate Excel files for each group.
Data entry and revision: The employees entered the assigned data onto the website while adhering to the provided guidelines. Once the data entry was completed, the assigned officer reviewed and revised the entered data on the website to verify its accuracy.
Quality assurance: By implementing the process of data entry revision by the officers, we established a robust quality assurance mechanism. This approach guaranteed that no duplicated or erroneous data was present on the website, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Throughout this project, we discovered the importance of effective coordination, individual accountability, and quality control measures. The involvement of dedicated officers and the segregation of data helped streamline the process and significantly reduce errors and duplication.
Continuous monitoring and feedback loops were put in place to address any emerging issues and make necessary adjustments to the process. Regular communication and collaboration among the team members also played a vital role in identifying and resolving potential challenges.
By implementing these steps, we were able to overcome the problem of errors and duplicated data on the website, leading to improved data quality and integrity.
