Godlan Website Redesign and Rebuild

30 years of industry authority, finally represented online.

Project Scope:

Godlan is a veteran ERP consulting and implementation firm serving manufacturers and distributors, with three decades of award-winning work in their industry. Godlan’s expertise runs deep — but their previous site was built and maintained by an old-school IT vendor, not a web or marketing partner, and it showed. The site’s design, framework, and content were all stuck roughly 20 years in the past, leaving one of the most credible names in ERP consulting looking like an afterthought online.

The Challenge...

Before we worked together, Godlan had the credibility — 30 years in business, a long list of industry awards, deep expertise in ERP for manufacturers and distributors. What they didn’t have was a website that reflected any of it. The site was running on an outdated framework that wasn’t responsive, wasn’t flexible, and wasn’t built with growth in mind. On top of that, Godlan was sitting on a massive library of resources, blog content, and downloads — but it was disorganized, overly technical, and written for people who already understood ERP inside and out. A cold visitor landing on the site had no easy way to connect the dots on what Godlan actually did or why they should trust them with a project this important.
Godlan's expertise and reputation were already best-in-class, but...

So, how did we fix this?

After auditing the site, it was clear this wasn’t a “redesign the homepage” job — Godlan needed a full rebuild from the strategy layer up. We approached it in four phases: structure, content, design, and growth.
Before touching a single page, we rebuilt Godlan's sitemap from the ground up — organizing their sprawling library of resources, blogs, and downloads into clear clusters built around the search terms their prospects were actually using. This gave the site a logical structure for the first time, and laid the SEO groundwork for everything that followed.
We rewrote Godlan's core pages from scratch, translating dense, technical ERP language into clear, benefit-driven messaging that a first-time visitor could actually follow. The goal was simple: let a cold viewer understand what Godlan does, who they help, and why they're worth trusting — in seconds, not paragraphs.
Godlan's biggest untapped asset was its content library. We turned it into a lead funnel — gating their blogs, guides, and downloads behind a free account so that every resource request became a new lead in the pipeline.
Godlan’s online reputation now finally matches the authority they’ve built over 30 years in the industry. Visitors can quickly understand their value, navigate their resources, and self-select into the funnel — turning a passive content library into an active lead-generation engine.
The relationship didn’t end at launch, either. Godlan retained me on a monthly basis to keep building on that momentum — new pages, new resources, new landing pages — treating the site as a growing asset instead of a one-and-done project.
The main land of the site now solidifies authority quickly.
Cleanly Displayed Services
Clean and fully-encompassed Mega Menu that clusters their content in a natural and easy-to-navigate UI
The Mobile Menu cleanly does the same for mobile viewers.
In-depth product-specific sections of the site that nest relates pages with a sidebar menu.
The learning center was the concept we came up with for a "free" library of keyword-rich articles, downloads, demos, and more. The addition solidifies Godlan as a subject-matter authority while also providing a simple lead-capture upon creating an account.
Every piece (except for articles) are gated behind the free account, highlighting traffic interests and providing the sales team with a consistent stream of contacts to follow-up with.
Easier to Read. Simpler to Navigate. Beautifully Responsive. A brand-elevating, authority building website.

Redesigned Godlan's website to modernize and enhance lead generation. Post project, they retained me monthly for the last 3 years to keep site growth on brand.
