The brief was to create a new visual identity for a cafe. Home.Two is a cafe that works on the issue of youth homelessness by employing young homeless people, training them, and assisting them to break out of the homelessness cycle.

The concept of this logo came from the idea to depict a window and coffee cup illustrated together, to show the business’ aim of opening up opportunities for the homeless youth through their cafes. The lines of the illustration are composed in a way to depict a ‘2’ in name of the cafe branch.

Visual Identity
The visual identity reflects these values in their branding elements. The concept of this logo came from the idea to depict a window and coffee cup illustrated together, to show the business’ aim of opening up opportunities for homeless youth through their cafes. The serif typeface and pastel colour scheme depict a calming aesthetic, representing their values of sustainability.
Various line art illustrations in relation to the cafe visual identity were used to create brand icons, and a set of repetitive patterns for packaging designs, menu designs and print and digital media (business cards, email signatures).
The icons are also used to symbolise the brand values of reducing carbon footprint, providing work experience to homeless youth, plant-based food and sustainable packaging.
