Valltees is a purpose-driven t-shirt brand. The owner is LGBTQ+ and aims to help foster understanding, love, and personal well-being.
The challenge: Designing visuals that captured the brand's values and brought the meaning of its name to life.
As an inclusive brand designer who values and celebrates diversity, I am committed to creating brands that reflect and honor the voices & stories of LGBTQ+ communities, people of color, and individuals from all walks of life.

Definition of Valltees:
As a verb, Vall means to cover, conceal, profess, testify, or bare witness, and as a noun it means embankment, earthwork, wall - a defensive fortification made of earth and stone. It was the founder's hope that people will view his shirts as ways to cover and protect themselves, profess and testify of their truths - catalysts for connection, by starting conversations and sharing occasional laughs.

The brand's symbol represents both light and dark - truths coming to light, as the sun spreads its rays over the wall of protection.
