Valltees is a purpose-driven t-shirt brand. The t-shirt company aims to help people stand unabashedly in their truth and help heal the world around them. Valltees has strong ties to the mental, spiritual, health & wellness space. The founder sought a brand that truly represented his values & brand mission.
The challenge: Designing visuals that captured the brand's values and brought the meaning of its name to life. The owner is LGBTQ+ and aims to help foster understanding, love, and personal well-being.
As an inclusive brand designer, who values and celebrates diversity, I am committed to creating brands that reflect and honor the voices & stories of LGBTQ+ communities, people of color, and individuals from all walks of life. My approach ensures that every design is thoughtful, respectful, and empowering.

Definition of Valltees:
As a verb, Vall means to cover, conceal, profess, testify, or bare witness, and as a noun it means embankment, earthwork, wall - a defensive fortification made of earth and stone. It was the founder's hope that people will view his shirts as ways to cover and protect themselves, profess and testify of their truths - catalysts for connection, by starting conversations and sharing occasional laughs.

The brand's symbol represents both light and dark - truths coming to light, as the sun spreads its rays over the wall of protection.

The logo was created with a carefully curated sans serif font which is typically viewed as more relatable font type.
