In collaboration with Mutual Aid Australia, I developed a robust Theory of Change framework that empowered the organization to align its grassroots initiatives with its vision of sustainable community empowerment. This project was pivotal in enhancing strategic clarity and stakeholder engagement.

We conducted an investigative ToC, which is typically done at the beginning stages of a project/intervention, to determine the best practices and approaches that should be taken to deliver tangible impact. This should be done before a strategy is developed to guide action, because a ToC will help to determine the solution, desired impact, and specific activities that will be taken.

Theory of Change Framework: A flexible framework was crafted to map community-driven activities to long-term outcomes. This framework was designed to accommodate the evolving needs of the organization, ensuring it remained relevant and impactful.

Workshops with Stakeholders: Conducted interactive workshops to gather insights from diverse stakeholders, identifying common goals and challenges. These sessions were instrumental in shaping a framework that truly reflected the organization's mission and community needs.

Visual Tools: Provided logic models and a Theory of Change Canvas to facilitate understanding and strategic discussions. These visual aids were crucial in making complex concepts accessible and engaging for all stakeholders, and enabling the collective to continue to adapt and implement core ToC concepts moving forward.

Strategic Clarity: The framework provided a clear strategic roadmap, enabling Mutual Aid Australia to articulate their impact effectively to funders and partners.
