The growing antibiotic resistance threatens to return us to an era where common infections are deadly, primarily due to misuse in humans and abuse in livestock. This crisis underscores the urgent need to apply the "One Health" approach to manage antimicrobials responsibly across all sectors and accelerate research into new treatments.
