Asian Base Coalition

Asian Base Coalition is a nonprofit organization that's is dedicated to serving and empowering the Asian American community through coalition-building, mutual aid, and collective liberation. The organization is still in its infancy, and web development is still an ongoing process.

As the sole Webflow Developer & Site Manager, I am responsible for the functionality & digital well being of the site. In addition, I also serve as a UX Designer & work with fellow graphic / brand designers.

Webflow's extensive CMS allows for great database management. Various CMS were nested within each other with conditional visibility. Thanks to Finsweet's Atrributes, the page now has filtering capabilities.

Anchor links have been added for user experience, and an external Javascript library have been added to give a moving bokeh background.

Without a doubt, this is my most ambitious project to date, and it's still an ongoing one as the non-profit is still in its earliest stage. I'm grateful for Relume (as it allows me to develop sites at a faster rate) and for GSAP (as it allows for slick motion animations to enhance the user's experience). Juggling multiple roles is a challenge, but it's an exciting opportunity to grow as a designer & developer.
