I created a thumbnail and banner for Yudai Sensei, a YouTube channel dedicated to teaching Japanese pronunciation and language skills.

Thumbnail: The thumbnail highlights the 38th literature flea market in Tokyo, evoking art, creativity, and literature. It features the cover of a novel and elements from the event poster. Bold and complementary colors are used to make the design pop and draw attention.

Banner: The banner captures the essence of Yudai Sensei’s channel with soothing blue tones, combining Japanese and English text to appeal to a broader audience. The design reflects the channel's educational and welcoming vibe, encouraging viewers to learn and engage with Japanese language and culture.

Conceptualization and Theme Identification - Brainstormed ideas based on the theme of the literature event or the specific event covered, as well as the overall vibe of Yudai Sensei's channel. - Considered elements such as literature, creativity, Japanese culture, and language learning. 2. Gathered Resources: - Collected images related to the literature event covered by the YouTube creator. - Gathered resources that represent Yudai Sensei's channel identity and brand. 3. Selected Color Palette: - Chose a color palette that complemented both the event theme and Yudai Sensei's channel identity. - Opted for bold and complementary colors for the thumbnail to make it eye-catching, and soothing blue tones for the banner to reflect professionalism and calmness. 4. Planned Layout: - Sketched out the layout for both the thumbnail and banner, ensuring they effectively communicated the theme and channel identity. - Considered the placement of text, images, and other graphic elements to create cohesive designs. 5. Integrated Language: - Incorporated both Japanese and English text strategically in the banner design to appeal to a broader audience. - Ensured that the text conveyed the channel's content and objectives clearly. 6.
