The Fifth Pattern — AI-Assisted YouTube Production

The Fifth Pattern is my self-initiated editorial channel about hidden patterns in everyday behavior. I wanted to see whether AI-assisted production could support thoughtful long-form storytelling without turning the work into a content farm.

I designed the complete workflow from research to release: source checking and claim boundaries, English scripting and chapter architecture, a single narration master with word-level alignment, storyboards tied to individual spoken passages, copy-first editing in ChatCut, a controlled Remotion identity sequence, external captions, thumbnails, metadata, and final technical QA.

Film one: 7:44, 128 approved storyboard frames, 155 caption cues.

Film two: 7:35, 112 approved storyboard frames, 148 caption cues.

Both films: 1920×1080, 30 fps clean H.264/AAC masters, external SRT captions, chapter structures, and complete title-and-thumbnail packages.

My background in literature and poetry shaped the process. I treated each film as an argument with rhythm—not a stack of AI assets.

AI accelerated voice and visual production, but it did not decide the story. I rejected motion that weakened the restrained paper-cinema style, preserved hard cuts where the meaning needed force, retimed every caption after structural pauses, and kept clean upload masters separate from captioned review files.

The first film is public. The second is complete and scheduled for release. I am not presenting audience-performance claims yet; this case documents the production system, editorial judgment, and quality control behind the work.

I can take a long-form video from an initial question to a finished, upload-ready film: research, script, voice, visual direction, storyboard production, editing, subtitles, sound, packaging, and QA.
