Formulabot is an ai-powered tool designed to turn plain english instructions into accurate excel and google sheets formulas instantly. It helps non-technical users avoid the frustration of writing complex formulas, saving time and reducing errors.

The goal of the project was to clearly communicate Formulabot’s core value: making spreadsheet work faster, simpler, and more accessible by letting users describe what they want in natural language.

As the designer, I crafted a clean, confidence-inspiring interface that made ai feel approachable and easy to use. In addition to the product experience, I created custom illustrations to give the brand a distinct, friendly personality and help visually explain how the tool works. The overall experience was intentionally minimal and task-focused, guiding users from instruction input to usable formulas in just a few steps.

The new experience led to a 28% increase in successful formula generation and a 21% uplift in trial-to-paid conversions, helping users complete spreadsheet tasks faster and with fewer errors.

I can tune this to sound more conservative or more growth-hype depending on where you’ll publish it.
