This project involved the complete 3D industrial product design, Onshape CAD modeling, and photorealistic rendering of a high-performance gearbox housing engineered for extreme durability, precise alignment, and efficient thermal dissipation. Designed using Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles, the housing features a robust structural rib system, precision bearing bores, optimized fluid drainage channels, and production-ready geometry optimized for sand casting and CNC machining. The final deliverables included manufacturing-ready CAD files and realistic renders suitable for prototyping, mass production, and product presentations.
