Events App - FlutterFlow Custom Authentication (SAML)

I contributed to FirstEvent’s FlutterFlow app by implementing custom SAML authentication. This involved creating custom actions and server-side cloud functions integrated with their SAML identity provider. Additionally, I added deep linking for seamless app navigation and developed a polished loading UI to improve user experience during authentication flows.

Challenges included securely handling token exchange and verification, resolving inconsistencies between external identity data and the app’s internal user records, and ensuring the login process worked smoothly across a variety of devices and network conditions. I also debugged UI layout issues with Flutter DevTools to maintain a responsive and consistent interface.

The authentication work was vital for the app's successful launch, enabling secure and reliable user sign-in. This project showcased my full-stack capabilities with a strong emphasis on FlutterFlow, combining backend cloud functions, authentication integrations, frontend UI development, real-time debugging, and mobile-first considerations into a robust app solution.
