Finavi is an online stock trading platform developed by JB Securities Vietnam (JBSV). The project stands out with its flexible multi-display interface, allowing investors to customize their layout—featuring real-time charts, order lists, and market data—according to their needs. My focus was on crafting an intuitive, minimalist yet powerful design, ensuring accessibility for both novice and professional users with just a few clicks. Key features include seamless navigation, a responsive multi-device layout, and optimized interactive elements, all tailored to deliver a smooth and efficient trading experience

Designing Finavi, a next generation stock trading platform, required balancing complex financial data with a clean, user-friendly interface. The main challenge was to present real time market information, multi display layouts, and advanced trading tools in a way that feels intuitive to beginners yet powerful for experienced investors. We needed to ensure high performance, cross-device responsiveness, and seamless customization all while maintaining trust, clarity, and regulatory compliance in a fast-moving financial environment.

User research revealed two main investor groups in the stock market with distinct needs. Amateur investors—the target audience for the Mobile Trading System (MTS)—seek a simple, user-friendly mobile platform with integrated educational resources, such as step-by-step guides, to help them get acquainted with trading. Meanwhile, professional investors—users of the Web Trading System (WTS)—demand advanced analytical tools, real-time market data, and flexible customization options to support their complex investment strategies.



With the ability to open and manage multiple child windows within a single main interface, MDI allows users to simultaneously monitor critical data such as price charts, order lists, and real-time market information without switching between tabs. This optimizes the analysis process, facilitates fast and effective decision-making, and enhances focus and control in complex trading strategies, perfectly meeting the needs of experienced investors on Finavi.

Design concept for Finavi’s Mobile Trading System (MTS) focuses on creating a user-friendly, accessible platform for amateur investors, drawing inspiration from Korea’s minimalist design style. I aimed for a simple, clear interface with a well-organized home screen and feature flows, utilizing a clean and visually appealing layout to ensure new users can navigate effortlessly without feeling overwhelmed.
