PATIENT ROOM CONTROL TABLET UI/UX (Thinkwell Project) The stress of a hospital stay can be compounded by losing control over the simplest tasks. Giving control back to the patient was the fundamental aim of the room control tablet. Through Thinkwell, I partnered with Casgan, San Diego on this Crestron developed interface.

After a solid user experience outline, I developed this UC San Diego hospital tool a front end design that was on-brand with the UC brand guidelines. As well, great consideration was given to daytime/nightime readability and ADA compliance.

TABLET UI / iBEACON INTEGRATION Tours of the Thinkwell headquarters in Los Angeles is a common practice. But depending upon the tour-giver, each department and their capabilities would be described differently.

I presented the concept of an iBeacon triggered tablet application that guests would use as an interactive tour-guide throughout the complex. This met with solid approval by the principals. All front-end design and programming development was performed in-house.

WORKSHOP PODIUM CONTROLS (Thinkwell Project) The Google BrandLab workshops benefit from hand-off interaction with guests laptops onto their wide, 32 flat-panel display with the assistance of a workshop aid at the podium. Google recognized the value of allowing BrandLab interactive design for the podium control in alignment with their recently developed brand standards.

Within the UI, representatives can also adjust breakout room lights and av controls.

After I developed a solid UX, then the front end design, I worked closely with the front end developers for design programming consistency.
