Project overview

Umay is a Web3 protocol that allows users to create profiles, host video calls, and earn money through these interactions. With a focus on enabling individuals to monetize their skills globally, Umay positions itself as a secure, censorship-resistant, and instantly-paid video chat platform.

Scope

Umay approached me seeking a landing page that would reflect their newly updated brand identity and align with modern design trends. The goal was to create a cutting-edge, visually compelling website built on Framer, covering both design and development. The visual direction established in this landing page project later became a guiding reference for Umay’s product design. Following the success of this project, I continued collaborating with Umay to support their product design efforts.

Conducted competitor and industry analysis to inform initial design concepts and establish the foundation for the visual direction.
Collaborated with Umay stakeholders to define the content strategy and develop the website’s information architecture.
Adopted an iterative approach to wireframing and prototyping, using high-fidelity wireframes to continuously refine the website structure through team feedback and review sessions.
Explored multiple visual concepts to determine the final design direction, combining both 2D and 3D assets to achieve a modern and innovative aesthetic.
Built the landing page using Framer, focusing on creating a scalable and flexible structure for future content updates.
