As Pegasus Airlines sought to unify and elevate their digital platforms, I joined their team as a UX/UI designer to create a robust design system that would bring consistency and efficiency to their digital experiences. My role involved building a foundation that could adapt to the evolving needs of the airline’s internal and external users, while ensuring design consistency across all platforms.

The project began with a foundational workshop, where I collaborated closely with various teams to establish a shared vision for the design system. Together, we defined the guiding principles that would shape the system, such as scalability, accessibility, and user-centered design. These principles became the backbone of the design system, ensuring that every component not only aligned with Pegasus’s brand but also met the functional needs of their users.

With these principles in place, I set out to develop a design library that covered every essential component Pegasus teams might need. The library includes reusable UI components, patterns, and tokens, all designed to maintain visual consistency and streamline development. From buttons and icons to complex data visualizations, each element was created with a focus on adaptability and usability, allowing teams to quickly build interfaces that feel cohesive and on-brand.

The new design system has helped Pegasus Airlines achieve a more unified digital presence, reducing design and development time while ensuring a consistent, polished look and feel across platforms. This system is now actively used by Pegasus’s design and development teams, empowering them to create high-quality interfaces faster and with greater flexibility.

Reflecting on this project, I’m proud to have contributed to a design system that not only supports Pegasus’s current digital needs but also provides a scalable foundation for future growth. This experience highlighted the power of collaborative design in creating solutions that truly serve both the brand and its users.
