Zigcast is a digital signage start-up empowering businesses to reach and retain audiences in physical spaces with modernized marketing. I collaborated with another designer to create an intuitive application that helps small businesses access advertising in physical locations.
Through research, we identified key barriers: many small business owners view advertising as an expense rather than a revenue generator, and a lack of trust in digital marketing persists. We designed a system to simplify ad creation and placement, including features like campaign mode for single or multi-location advertising, templates for new designs, and a transparent cost structure.
Using sketches, user flows, and prototypes, we developed an MVP that streamlined the ad creation process and enhanced user experience with a cohesive UI kit and updated brand styling. User testing confirmed the product's usability, and our solution made digital signage accessible, appealing, and effective for small business owners.
These changes made increased conversion rates by over 60% leading to more signups.
