Overview 🔎

This TikTok video marks a video editing gig requested by one of my clients! They were eager to elevate their content with a more polished and highly edited video production for a new series that they wanted to introduce on one of their social channels.

Problem & Solution 🤝

The challenge was to edit a captivating 10-minute video tailored for the predominantly short-form-content platform: TikTok!

The twist?

Unlike previous projects, I didn't have access to the renowned editing software, Premiere Pro to edit a long-form video. Instead, I pushed my boundaries and utilized Capcut App!

Throughout the process,

  • I leveraged sounds and music to emphasize specific moments and words.
  • I strategically incorporated pop culture references to make the video more relatable to the intended audience.
  • Additionally, I played with cuts and transitions to maintain audience engagement for as long as possible!
  • Using relatable pop culture moments to keep the audience engaged throughout the entire video!

Results 🎁

They were fantastic! This subtle shift in her post-production approach led to a highly engaging video with over 25K viewers!

This is particularly noteworthy on a platform like TikTok, where users typically wouldn't watch a 10-minute video on a primarily short-form video like TikTok!
