Behind the Edits: Seven Daughters Wine x Taraji P. Hendson

This project involved creating a series of Instagram videos for the launch of the revamped Seven Daughters Wine in collaboration with Taraji P. Henson! The goal was to deliver engaging, humorous, and informative short-form videos (10 seconds to 1 minute) that aligned with the brand’s social media strategy and resonated with its audience.

The challenge was to craft a series of videos that seamlessly blended humor and information, as specifically requested by Taraji P. Henson, while supporting the brand’s social media strategy to increase engagement and visibility on Instagram.

Here’s how I tackled the project:

Editing Tools: Used Premiere Pro and CapCut to create high-quality videos that stood out visually and maintained consistency across the series.

Trending Audio & Music: Incorporated trending audio and royalty-free music from Epidemic Sound to ensure the content felt relevant and fresh to the Instagram audience.

Humor & Relatability: Integrated Taraji’s requested humor and pop culture references to make the videos entertaining and relatable.

Sharp Editing: Applied precise cuts, transitions, and creative effects to grab attention and maintain engagement throughout.

Strategic Messaging: Balanced the humor and information with the core brand message, ensuring it resonated authentically without feeling overly promotional.

The videos played a key role in supporting the brand’s social media strategy, generating increased engagement, positive feedback, and heightened visibility on Instagram.

By blending humor, information, and visually engaging editing techniques, the series effectively captured the essence of the Seven Daughters Wine collaboration with Taraji P. Henson and exceeded the client’s expectations.
