Worked with a content agency for 2 years and learnt two things:

content is always for the audience, not for the company you're writing for

content marketing and SEO is part of content strategy

So yes, my main role here was not just that of a freelance content writer. I also helped with keyword research, content strategy, content outline, research, editing, and writing. It helped the content agency take on 15 more clients than usual.

I also helped the agency write emails and do some outreach. It was a first for me, so learnt a lot about writing good subject lines.
