Ryytas Coffee: A Premium Bilingual E-Commerce Platform

Seamlessly blending Lithuanian heritage with modern e-commerce innovation

Overview

Ryytas, a premium Lithuanian coffee brand, required a bilingual (English/Lithuanian) e-commerce platform that combined Webflow’s design flexibility with Shopify’s robust backend. The project involved creating a membership-driven experience with localized content, seamless integrations, and performance optimization to reflect the brand’s artisanal quality.

Challenges

The project demanded seamless integration of Webflow’s design-centric frontend with Shopify’s e-commerce backend while preserving speed and aesthetics. Simultaneously, crafting a bilingual (English/Lithuanian) experience required efficient content management without duplicating pages or compromising SEO. Building tiered membership logic for subscriptions (casual vs. premium) involved gating content and automating discounts, all while optimizing performance to balance dynamic animations with sub-2-second load times.

My Roles

As the Webflow Developer & UI UX Designer, I was responsible for:
Defining the design vision through research and competitor analysis.
Creating wireframes and prototypes for approximately all pages, including a PDP.
Leading the UI/UX design process, ensuring alignment with Ryytas ’s brand identity.
Translating Figma UI Design into responsive Webflow layouts, including dynamic CMS templates for E-commerce pages.
Crafted UI/UX in Figma, built the frontend in Webflow, and managed backend integrations.
Bridged Webflow and Shopify using Smoothify for real-time data sync.
Engineered bilingual content without duplicating CMS structures.
