Opal Wines is a self-initiated branding project for a UK-based natural wine bar and house label. The goal was to create a distinctive, scalable identity that works seamlessly across packaging and digital touchpoints.
The Challenge
Develop a brand that feels modern and commercially viable while still rooted in craft and small-scale production. The identity needed to stand out in a competitive natural wine market without relying on trend-led aesthetics.
The Solution
I created a cohesive visual system combining refined typography, a mineral-inspired colour palette and bespoke illustration. The brand balances structure and warmth, allowing it to scale confidently across print and digital platforms.
Deliverables
Logo and wordmark
Typography and colour system
Brand guidelines
Wine label illustration and packaging design
Tasting notes and technical sheets
Fully responsive website (designed and built in Framer)
Launch-ready marketing visuals
Outcome
The project demonstrates my ability to build an end-to-end brand world — from strategy and identity through to packaging and web build — with consistency across every touchpoint.
